Your group may be considered an organized sports team if it:

• Has a coach, manager, or designated team leader.
• Holds regular practices, training sessions, games, or competitions.
• Follows established rules, schedules, or league guidelines.
• Uses uniforms, team gear, or sport-specific equipment.
• Is affiliated with or registered through a league, association, club, school, or other organized program.

If your group meets any of these criteria, an Athletic Field Use Permit is required before using Stansbury Park athletic fields for organized activities.

Rates are hourly unless otherwise noted. Field Use Permits are issued for a minimum of one hour per field, per day.

A non-resident rate is not listed in the 2026 packet for the Porter Way fall-season field area. Contact the SSA with questions about that reservation.

Additional fees

• Tournament fees: contact the SSA to discuss.
• Vendor, concession, or food truck fees: contact the SSA to discuss.
• Field Use Policy violation fines: $10–$50 per offense, at the SSA's discretion.
• Unauthorized parking fee or parking-access restrictions may result in a $500 fine.

• Proof of liability insurance is required in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence.
• The Stansbury Service Agency must be named as an additional insured.
• Your Certificate of Insurance may be emailed with your application or brought to the SSA office.
• An incomplete or inaccurate request will not be processed.
• No reservation or permit is issued until the request is approved, required fees are paid, and acceptable proof of insurance has been received.
• An applicant may be required to appear at the next available SSA Board meeting.
• Once approved, the permit must be available for inspection at the field during the reserved time.

The packet contains the complete Athletic Field Use Policies & Rules. Important requirements include:

• Fields remain open to the public unless an Athletic Field Use Permit has been issued or the SSA has closed the field.
• Permit holders must leave the area clean and may be charged for cleanup or field repairs.
• No alcoholic beverages are allowed in SSA parks.
• All parks close at 10:00 PM and must be vacated at that time.
• No equipment is included unless specifically agreed to in writing by the SSA.
• Sales, concessions, food, raffles, or soliciting require express written approval from the SSA.
• A field permit does not provide exclusive use of a parking lot. Parking fees may not be collected and public parking access may not be restricted without prior written authorization.
• No vehicles, ATVs, or golf carts are allowed on the grass.
• Field alterations are prohibited. Only approved field-marking materials may be used.
• Permits may not be assigned or transferred to another group.
• Use of the field must stop if a hazardous condition arises.
• Permit holders are responsible for damage occurring during their use.

By submitting an application, your organization agrees to follow the complete policies and rules contained in the Athletic Field Use Packet.

• Cancellation requests must be made in writing. Email is an acceptable form of written notice.
• No refunds are issued for cancellations or unused reservations as provided in the Field Use Policies.
• Approved dates, times, or fields may not be changed without written SSA approval.
• For a proposed change to an approved reservation, written notice must be provided no later than two business days in advance, and the SSA may approve or deny the request.
• Reservations may be rescheduled because of inclement weather or unplayable fields, depending on availability.
• The SSA may limit or prohibit field use because of weather, field conditions, overuse, repair needs, conflicting uses, or other conditions affecting the park and its patrons.
