As temperatures drop, it’s time to remind everyone of a few safety issues around the park. First, with the shorter days and the change in time, more people are exercising and riding during periods of lower light. I see a lot of people wearing reflective vests and using lights, which is an excellent practice. During these periods it’s always a good idea to do everything you can to help drivers of cars and trucks see you more clearly. Wearing light-colored clothing, using reflective gear, and turning on your lights—even if you feel you can see well—, are ways to keep you safe.
